Agenda

Just a quick note to let you know that I will be posting throughout the weekend, thanks to all the storms and flooding that knocked-out my Internet pretty much the entire month of May. I realize you don't really know if I am online or offline and it doesn't make much difference to you, so long as I keep posting, but it's dark as night here right now thanks to an oncoming storm, and there are more predicted throughout the weekend, so I wanted to go ahead and say something while I have the chance, in case I do get knocked offline.

This is why several of the stories I've been covering today, and will continue to post throughout the weekend (God willing) are kind of "old news." The Cyberculturalist seeks to document the ever-changing face of online culture, so I pick and choose which stories to include; some news is covered everywhere and I choose not to include it for whatever reason, while others get posted days, weeks, even months after they happen because I feel they are noteworthy to this subject.

I'm literally about one month behind on everything, so bear with me!

I meant to add that the latest issue of Wired arrived weeks ago, but I've yet to read it for the same reasons. I also pulled some old issues for stories I wanted to re-read to see what came of them, and I'll be bringing more of that to you in coming months.
