Marc Maron is now bringing his acerbic brand of humor to the Webz from his repurposed garage, via a twice weekly podcast called WTF!? Maron is one of those comedians, and probably men, who people seem either to like or... not like at all. He flirts with offensive content, though a lot of it is centered around politics and religion so, if you are not offended by such, you might not mind it; he can get blue, and occasionally does, but it's relatively rare. Marc Maron can also be rude and sometimes goes on angry diatribes. Sometimes.
However, Maron has had some truly insightful, thought-provoking, and gripping podcasts with such comedians as Carlos Mencia, Patrice O'Neal, and others. If you are interested in comedy, this is one of the only podcasts I've heard yet that actually delves into the personalities, history, concepts, and craft of comedy and being a stand-up comedian -- to be sure, others discuss these topics, but WTF!? is the only podcast that actually gets into, and really explores, them.
Again, Marc Maron -- and his humor, while we're here -- is not for everyone but, if you enjoy laughing, comedy, or just learning more about stand-up and stand-up comedians (they think they're people), WTF!? is definitely the podcast to check out.
