Yes, I ordered a Roku box set that should be arriving sometime this week or next. I got the most basic model because I'm not a big gamer, as longtime readers know all too well. Besides, I have my computers for gaming should I want to do that. The only real benefit to getting the higher-grade model is that it has a network port in case the wi-fi isn't strong enough to pump bandwidth to the TV and the computer.
I am not anticipating that issue, though I am aware of it. I'll of course let you know more about it once it arrives, but suffice it to say I am happy to pay a little extra for more bandwidth, should that become an issue. I'm actually more concerned about my router, which is also a basic model and may not be able to push that much bandwidth. Again, I'll know more once I actually get the box and get a chance to play with it.
Of course, I'll keep you updated and post a review of Roku's services once the box arrives.
