Blogger Requires Standard XHTML Statcounter Installation

If you are having problems installing your Statcounter code on a Blogger blog, you are probably getting an error message similar to the following:
Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.
XML error message: The element type "img" must be terminated by the matching end-tag "".
This is because you are trying to install the Standard Statcounter code and Blogger requires the XHTML version (right next to it).

To install the Statcounter code, simply click "Tools" or the little wrench icon next to the Project you are working on, then "Reinstall Code." If you decide to just go for Default Installation Guide, choose the Standard (xhtml) tab and use that Statcounter code.

If you select Blogger as the platform from the Installation Guide link, you should have no problems installing the code. I posted this because I also use StatCounter for the websites and sometimes get them confused, so this is as much a reminder for me as anything.
