An 18-wheeler took out about three utility poles on the highway earlier this morning. The power was out for nearly three hours, but they got it back on before they thought they would. Shortly after that, it began thundering in the area. The thunder is now basically upon me and it's raining slightly.
Given my track record, any normal, sane individual would disconnect everything and hope for the best, but -- since I've moved everything into an interior outlet -- I'm going to try to ride it out. At least until it gets violent.
The last storm didn't get violent at all until it hit the house, though...
