Amazon's New Streaming Music Service

Amazon announced that they are planning to release a new streaming music service later this year that will compete with Tidal, Pandora, Spotify, and similar, streaming music sites. The site is set to launch later this summer or early fall at a monthly cost of $9.99, which is comparable to that of their competition.

Amazon Prime customers already have access to a limited catalogue of streaming music, but this would increase the number of songs available to them. Amazon is said to be in talks with various music companies to secure rights to music not currently available to customers.
