Netflix announced that it has signed a deal with director Eli Roth for 13 episodes of a monster/mystery show entitled Hemlock Grove.
Based on the book by Brian McGreevy, it follows the investigation of a young girl's murder in a small town populated by monsters like werewolves. Hemlock Grove joins Lilyhammer and new episodes of Arrested Development on Netflix, and premieres next year.
Roth is best known for the gory Hostel series, which some derided as "torture porn."
