Comcast Enters Streaming Video Arena

Comcast, one of the nation's leading cable providers, has announced plans to open an online video streaming service. The service is called Xfinity Streampix and will be available to Comcast cable subscribers only, for about $5.00 more per month. A source noted that Streampix could eventually become a standalone product, but the company has no plans for moving in that direction at this time.
