Hasbro filed suit against computer maker Asus for its Transformer Prime model. Hasbro said that its Transformers line is expanding and it planned to aggressively protect its properties. Neither company has made any announcements regarding the suit that I know of, but Hasbro's explanation made me think they are looking to create computerized toys along the Transformers line. They are still behind a major movie franchise, as well, so they may also be protecting that.
Hasbro seeks money and an injunction on shipping of the Transformer Prime model, which started going out December 19th.
