Panasonic's Evolta robot, powered by their rechargeable Evolta batteries, is set to run Hawaii's Ironman Triathlon. The time for it to complete the race was adjusted to the scale of the hand-sized robot, which is being fitted with a special wheel, fins, and other accoutrement to allow it to compete. Evolta will not compete alongside human competitors.
