The notice to download Firefox 6.1 popped-up as I was in the middle of about 100 different things, so I ignored it at first. However, I went to my Options -> About and updated from there with about three windows open. The update went smoothly and returned me to my three open windows without any issue. Nor did I see any warnings about add-ons and incompatibilities, so everything seems good.
