Jeopardy, a popular American TV gameshow, pitted an IBM supercomputer named Watson against two human players, including the longest-running winner. The series is called "Man vs. Machine" and Machine took round one.
Watson, the IBM supercomputer, emerged victorious with over $35,000 in earnings, but the series continues. The overall winner receives $1 million.
