Nintendo 3DS Coming in March

A spokesperson for the company said the Nintendo 3DS, which will be available in March for $250, is "Something you haven't experienced before." There are no glasses and the handheld device has three cameras, a touchscreen, and 3D screen on top.

The 3DS takes a picture of you and creates an avatar without your input, though you can tweak it to your desire. It also has the StreetPass "social" feature, which allows you to share gaming information with other 3DS users in the area.

More than 30 games will accompany its release with many more soon to follow. Users can also play older games, they just won't appear in 3D. The manufacturer warns against children under six using the Nintendo 3DS, as it may hinder vision development.
