Drop AVG Search Shield to See Results

If you have AVG, then you have probably seen something like this in your search results:


AVG remains highly-suggested, not only for being a great anti-virus defense, but also for its price (free), but this new(ish) feature is more than a little annoying and I'll admit that it took me some time to track down, thanks to all of the add-ons and programs I have installed. However, it is easy enough to fix:

1. Open your AVG User Interface
2. Navigate to the Link Scanner
3. Disable, or drop, the Search Shield
4. You're done!
