College Strikes Online Words

Lake Superior State University (LSSU) released its annual list of most overused words in the current lexicon, and several of them have their roots in Cyberculture. The list contains 14 words, including "epic," "fail," and "viral." The latter actually leads the list, bearing the dubious distinction of being the most overused word of 2010.

According to LSSU List "rules," these 14 words are to be banished... but I have a feeling they will still be in-use for some time. After all, not everyone attends the small, Michigan college!
