I hope everyone is having a safe and Merry Christmas, or whatever it is that you celebrate this holiday season! The swelling in my sinuses is starting to alleviate, but I'm not completely out of the woods just yet. There is still a lot of pain, but I am finally able to almost smell/taste things once again, and that's a good thing.
I have to pay a bill or two, but then I will be cooking myself a nice, fat Christmas meal and settling-in with some friends online who are also spending the holidays alone (though my doing so is by choice). I love that "new and emerging" technology allows us such an opportunity, and though the friendships we make online may not be as strong as the bonds we make IRL, they often feel as though they are. This technology also affords us the opportunity to spend time with people when we would otherwise not be able to, due to time, distance, weather, or other impedances.
So, whether you are physically with loved ones or merely communicating with them online or by phone, relax and enjoy your holidays and we'll see you soon!
Merry Christmas!
