So far, the bedroom computer hasn't discovered the living room box and vice-versa, so I just disconnected it from the Web entirely for now. I needed the bandwidth (which still hasn't made a whole lot of difference here today).
The whole idea behind getting another computer was to have a backup, but also to make me more productive. If I have to pick and choose workstations based upon the files I need, that doesn't help a whole lot. I'm going to go back through in a day or two and do things separately to really start troubleshooting.
It automatically discovered the Web, so I'm thinking I need to manually setup the home network separately. I don't have a lot of experience with this, as I've almost never had two computers working at the same time that can "see" one another over a network.
