Feds Close Domains Over Piracy Concerns

Authorities have closed several domains allegedly associated with the facilitation of distributing pirated media and entertainment. Some of the domains were thought to be associated with illegal music file-sharing, but sources suggest as many as 70+ domains were seized.

Visitors to the site saw the following message: "This domain name has been seized by ICE — Homeland Security Investigations, pursuant to a seizure warrant issued by a United States District Court."

The ICE is controlled by a high-ranking member of the RIAA.
