Mac's Image Capture does not work with the internal webcam, nor is it designed to; Mac's Image Capture only works with external devices (cameras and scanners). The reason I am clarifying this is because it took almost an hour to uncover online, even with Apple Support!
Moving to another OS can be daunting - especially after several decades of using a different one. However, most OS are more secure than MS Windows, leading to fewer setup and configuration problems, viruses, and similar issues. I was looking forward to Win10's "Creators' Update," but I've spent thousands on MS products and computers in the last 10 years, and have lost more work in the last decade than I have in my entire computing experience.
I simply cannot afford it any longer.
