The new (refurbished) computer has locked-up on me at least three times now. It appears t be a problems with some software, as far as I can tell. The only real thing I have to go on is Event Viewer and that's truthfully been of little help. I do not know what's causing the problem, but it has me worried.
I spent a few hours trying to troubleshoot the problem the other night, but to no avail. Finally, the last time, it gave me a BSOD. That's the first and only time I've seen that, so far. I updated some software after I got it back up and going, so that may have handled the matter. I also know that I was asked to upgrade some firmware when the computer arrived, which I found odd - that should already have been done before it left. However, I don't know how long this unit set in a warehouse or garage or wherever before it was sold to me.
