Some Facebook users claimed they were receiving hardcore pornographic and violent images in their feeds over the weekend, but I was unable to confirm the story until yesterday, when Facebook says they managed to clean-up many of them.
Apparently, an innocuous link added JavaScript to the users' feed which added the images, but no one knows who posted the JavaScript. Some of the images also included pictures of Justin Bieber and many believe the group, Anonymous, may have been connected to the event though Anonymous has not claimed responsibility. There was supposed to be a YouTube video in which someone claiming to be from the group admitted to the attacks, but experts wonder if it is was real.
