Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez is holding court via Twitter, passing laws and voicing his opinion on government issues from Cuba, where he is undergoing surgery. Chavez has been in Cuba since late June to have a cancerous tumor removed. He has remained there to undergo chemotherapy.
He has 1.8+ million followers and remains in power, despite being considered a corrupt official by many Venezuelans and the rest of the world. Venezuelan law allows a President to be re-elected countless times and 56-year-old Chavez is expected to remain in office for some time.
