Has anyone else noticed the linking issues in the revamped Blogger? I noticed it originally under Edit HTML, but it also appears when linking in Compose mode. When you hyperlink to a page, you often get "http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif" inserted randomly onto the page.
Under Edit HTML, this entry can appear literally anywhere in the text; in Compose mode, it appeared in the Tags bar. Tonight was the first time I noticed the latter, but the former has been an ongoing problem for several weeks now.
According to Blogger Help forums, several people have encountered this error and it appears to be a Firefox issue. However, no one has discovered a viable workaround and neither Blogger nor Firefox has addressed the problem.
At this time, the only thing I know to tell you is to either post through another browser or simply expect the "http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif" to appear, then remove it.
