Quick Note on Health

I've said this before, because I am living proof that you can actually injure yourself simply by sitting in front of the computer, but I am going to say it again: GET OUT OF YOUR CHAIR!

For the last few weeks, I was convinced I had a cramp just to the left of my right shoulder blade from holding the mouse, but it turned out that my lung had almost collapsed (actually, it may well have; I haven't had it seen yet)! The only way I figured this out (again, for myself, as this all unfolded over the weekend) is that I started stretching, trying to work-out the cramp I thought I had, and something... just kinda "popped" or something and I started coughing.

I know this is gross, but it is what it is, and I'm discussing it because it could be serious. I just had surgery to correct my sinuses, so that probably has as much to do with it as anything else, but had I been moving around, stretching and exercising, like all of us who work at computers are supposed to do regularly, I don't think this would have happened.

So, once again, let me reiterate how important it is to get up, stretch, and move around regularly.

And, once again, I'm reasonably certain it's just a cramp. No idea, but tired of the whole thing.
