Obama Admin Demands Twitter DM

The Obama administration has demanded Twitter turn over the private details of three accounts belonging to men they claim have aided Wikileaks' Julian Assange. An attorney from the ACLU spoke on behalf of the three men -- Birgitta Jonsdottir, Rop Gonggrijp, and Jacob Appelbaum -- only the latter of whom is actually a US citizen, saying the request is an attack on "...the ability to use the internet freely and privately."

The Obama administration, which has continually attacked freedom of speech and human rights online and fully supports the blood diamond industry, insists it is only requesting "routine" information -- such as the private Direct Messages (DM) of the three defendants.

The Obama administration's continued terrorizing of Julian Assange, as well as its recent eyeroll at situations in Egypt and Tunisia, should be foremost on voters' minds at all times; this is a frightening, dangerous regime.
