Tutorial: Incremental Volume Control in WinAmp

WinAmp's sliding volume control can be difficult to set if you are using your mouse. However, there is a way to set the volume incrementally in WinAmp using the arrow keys. Simply click on the sliding volume control button (bringing it into focus), then you can control it using the UP and DOWN arrows on your keyboard.

There is an addendum here: From 0, the UP arrow increases the volume by one; subsequent presses increase the volume by two. So, from 0, the first press will turn up the volume to 1; subsequent presses increase the volume to 3, 5, 7, 9, etc.

You can further control WinAmp's volume through your Windows Volume Control. WinAmp must be open for the control to appear.
