Hulu to Become Pay 'Internet Cable' Network?

Some are speculating that Hulu may end its free services and opt for a bundle subscription model. The bundle would allow subscribers to tailor-make their menus from networks and shows Hulu already carries, including Disney, ABC, NBC, and more. Executives are concerned that airing episodes online will diminish their values to cable networks, to whom they are often sold in syndication.

Increasingly, the need to define the Internet against other mediums and what constitutes "publishing" and "broadcasting" online. I not only have some ideas on the subject, I can back them up. As The Cyberculturalist, I am aware of several precedents which have become part of established Netiquette -- precedents of which the establishment, Old Media, is obviously unaware -- which clearly demarcate the line between media and medium.
