Connecticut Investigating 'Super-Pimp' Craigslist

Connecticut is the latest state to initiate an investigation into Craigslist, on the basis of prostitution. Though the current laws are on Craigslist's side, which claims it does what it can to prune such ads, it is only a matter of time before the site is busted for facilitation, or worse.

A recent investigation into Craigslist clients posting ads offering sex in exchange for money and/or gifts by New York officials netted 15 members of the Gambino crime family, who were accused of child trafficking and exploitation for advertising sexual ads on behalf of girls as young as 15.
