Netflix Headed to iPad

If you are a subscriber, you can download the Netflix for free and watch streaming content to your heart's... content. Non-subscribers can also download the app for a free, two-week trial (Netflix places a $1.00 charge on your debit/credit card which is refunded if you decide not to subscribe). Netflix costs right at $10.00/month (it's actually like $9.86 or so).

The Netflix app was supposed to be released April 3rd, the same day as the iPad, and as far as I can tell, it was. I know this is a late post, but I didn't know how to cover the iPad. I'm certainly not getting one and I don't know anyone who is, so I opted to pick and choose stories relating to it, then they got lost in the shuffle. Netflix is now available on the Wii, as well.

In related news, there is a rumored Hulu app for in the works for iDevices, but it has yet to street. Speculation about it being a pay app, and how that would (not) go over well with Apple overseers due to iTunes, was rampant, but so far, nothing has come of any of it.
